Pay with Klarna Rechnung

When do I have to pay my Klarna invoice?

You can pay your Klarna invoice up to 30 days after you receive it. As soon as we send your package, you'll receive an invoice via the email address you provided during your order. You can find the date before which you have to pay in the same email.

Via Klarna, you can choose for a pay via automatic debit or direct transfer.

Why can't I pay with Klarna Rechnung?

When you choose to pay afterwards in the checkout, Klarna will perform a identity check and credit check. Coolblue can't influence the acceptance or denial of your Klarna payment. If you have any questions, you can contact Klarna directly.

Is your payment with Klarna Rechnung denied, but you still want to have your package as fast as possible? Finish your order with a different payment method.

How can I finish an order with Klarna Rechnung?

With Klarna Rechnung, you can pay up to 30 days after you receive your package.

  1. Choose the Klarna Rechnung option in the payment step and click 'Order with payment obligation'.
  2. You'll see a Klarna popup. Enter your birthday and phone number. Klarna might ask for an extra control SMS.
  3. Klarna will check and verify your information. This takes a few seconds.
  4. As soon as Klarna approved your order, you'll see an online confirmation of your order. You'll also receive an order confirmation via email.
  5. After the shipment of your order, Klarna will send you an email with your invoice. This will contain all the information on how you can pay. You'll have 30 days after you receive this mail to complete the payment.

How can I pay my outstanding Coolblue invoice with Klarna?

It's easiest to pay for your products via the Klarna app or by logging into klarna.de. You can see the invoice when your order left the Coolblue warehouse.

You can also pay your outstanding Coolblue invoices with Klarna with a manual transfer. You can find the payment information in the email you received from Klarna.

Note: the payment runs via Klarna. Don't transfer the money to Coolblue.

Why haven't I received a Klarna invoice yet?

Check the spam folder of the email address that you entered, or wait a bit longer. You'll receive your invoice after the Coolblue shipment confirmation. We'll send that when you have shipped your order. Keep in mind that the invoice doesn't go via Coolblue, but it comes from Klarna directly.

You can find all your Klarna invoices in the Klarna App, or by logging in to klarna.de. Didn't you receive the invoice? Contact the Klarna customer service.

Why do I receive a payment reminder from Klarna when I've already returned my order?

It's possible your return and the Klarna reminder just missed each other. After you return your package, it takes a few days before we processed it in out warehouse. Keep track of the status of your return via My Coolblue.

As soon as we processed your return, you'll receive an adjust invoice from Klarna within 5 working days.

Tip: via the Klarna app or website, you can indicate that you returned your order or a part of your order. Klarna will put the invoice on hold, until we notify them that we processed your return. This way, you won't receive unnecessary payment reminders anymore.

How can I return a product I ordered with Klarna Rechnung?

To return products you ordered with Klarna Rechnung, you can follow the usual steps.

Register your return via the online return form and follow the steps in the form to pack and send you product or products.

As soon as your return is processed, you'll receive an adjusted invoice or refund from Klarna after 5 working days.

What happens with my Klarna invoice after I returned a product?

As soon as we processed your return in the Coolblue warehouse, you'll receive a message from Klarna.

Full order returned, invoice not paid yet: you'll receive a message from Klarna that states your invoice is cancelled. You don't have to do anything.
Part of your order returned, invoice not paid yet: you'll receive an adjusted invoice from Klarna. You only have to pay for the products you keep, of course. In the email from Klarna, you can read how exactly you can pay.
Order returned, invoice already paid: you'll receive an adjusted invoice from Klarna and Klarna will refund the amount you overpaid automatically to the bank account you used to pay for the order. You don't have to do anything.
