Dehumidifiers
You can choose from 2 kinds of dehumidifiers. Condensation dehumidifiers work best in spaces where it's warmer than 15°C. You can place it in your house or at the office, for example. An adsorption dehumidifier works best in spaces colder than 15°C. These are suitable for in the shed, garage, or basement. So check first in which space you want to place it and how large that space is.

Which extra functions do you want?
Hygrometer and drying function
Some dehumidifiers include a hygrometer. This measures the humidity in the room. This way, you know exactly which setting you need to use for the dehumidifier. There are also dehumidifiers with a dryer program for laundry. With this program, it keeps dehumidifying, even when the desired humidity has been reached. This way, your laundry dries faster.
Notification and built-in pump
The dehumidifier collects the moist in the water tank. Some dehumidifiers notify you when the tank is full. This way, you know exactly when to empty it and the dehumidifier keeps working well. There are also dehumidifiers with a built-in pump. You can connect the drain hose to a drain that's higher or a sink. That's useful if you don't have a drain in the ground.
How do you choose a dehumidifier?
When choosing a dehumidifier, you have to pay attention to a few things. Think of in which room you want to place the dehumidifier, for example. Some are suitable for in your home while other models are for a basement or garage. Take the size of the space into account when making your decision. Think about any extra functions you might want as well, like a drying function.
