What's covered by the Coolblue Extended Warranty?

With the Coolblue Extended Warranty, you're protected from costs for material defects and manufacturing defects that arise from normal use of your product.

What's not covered by the Coolblue Extended Warranty?

  • Damage due to misuse and accidents
  • Damage due to repairing it yourself, or working on it in any other way
  • Damage due to not following the manual or maintenance guidelines
  • Normal wear on consumables (such as batteries and lights)
  • Software errors
  • Control errors and accidents (falls, breaks, liquids)
  • Damage due to external influences
  • Damage due to war or warlike events (risks of war)
  • Commercial use

How much does the Coolblue Extended Warranty cost?

The price of the Coolblue Extended Warranty depends on the price of the product you want to get the Extended Warranty on. You can find the price of the Extended Warranty on the product page.

What's the difference between the Extended Warranty and regular warranty?

At Coolblue, you receive a standard legal warranty of 2 years on your product. With the Coolblue Extended Warranty, this period is extra long. That way, you have a total of 4 or 5 years of protection from unexpected costs for material or manufacturing defects.

In addition, the liability for the legal warranty lies with the manufacturer while the Extended Warranty liability lies with Coolblue. You can always contact Coolblue for any questions or problems you have with your product within the chosen warranty period. Coolblue will make sure the product is repaired or replaced for free. Are both options unavailable? You'll receive the amount from us in CoolblueCredit. User damage or damage by misuse aren't reimbursed.

Where does the Coolblue Extended Warranty apply?

The Coolblue Extended Warranty applies in Germany.

How do I register my product with an Extended Warranty for repair?

You can register a defective product with Extended Warranty just like other products, so in one of our stores, via our customer service, or via the online damage form in My Coolblue. We then assess your request. We check if the damage is covered by the warranty and in what way we can help you. If the damage is covered by the warranty, we repair your product for free.

Large products Is the product heavier than 30kg and/or larger than 175x78x55cm? It works as follows:

  • Register your product via the online damage form and we'll ensure a repair appointment is made.
  • The manufacturer makes an appointment to repair the product at your home within 48 hours of your request.
  • If your product needs to be picked up for the repair, the delivery drivers will pick up the product the next working day. We'll notify you of this via email or phone.
  • Change pickup day? You can also do this via email or phone.
