Second Chance Tefal Renew+ Ceramic High-Sided Skillet 24cm

Our old frying pan was also from Tefal, and we have now purchased this one because the coating of the other pan is peeling off after 1.5 years, despite always washing by hand and using only plastic spatulas. This pan has a very fine, smooth coating, your food 'slides' through the pan, as it were. This does not burn, you need little oil or butter, and the pan is really easy to clean. Hopefully this coating will last longer, because I think it's a nice pan. In the meantime also ordered the larger and smaller frying pan because they are so good.
As a disadvantage I would mention: the handle conducts the heat very well, and if the pan is briefly on the 'fire' (induction) you almost burn your fingers on the metal handle (the 'steel' as it were, so not the cap of the lid). I also find the thermo spot of all new Tefal pans quite unclear. "In the past" the image colored evenly dark red so that it became one dark red dot, now the image in the dot colors a little bit darker.

As far as we are concerned, this pan is definitely worth the money (if it lasts a long time)

I've had the pan for a few weeks now and I use it almost daily. It is a nice pan and practical to use. The pan looks nice and is lightweight. The pan does what it promises, food does not burn. The lid that comes with it is useful but the lid handle gets hotter than I expected. That was a bit of a shock during the first use. The pan is larger for a 24 cm pan than my other 24 cm pans. Too bad the pan can't go in the dishwasher.

I like the pan to use. Little or no butter is needed to fry meat or fish. The non-stick coating ensures that nothing sticks (sauce/meat/fish). The pan is also easy to clean (especially due to the good non-stick coating). The size is just right for a 4-person household. Due to its height, it is sufficient for sauces/risotto, etc. Just too small to fry meat/fish. The thermo dot is handy. You can see at a glance whether the pan is hot enough. The glass lid is also handy so you can see how the dish is doing. All in all, I recommend the pan!
