Second Chance Jabra Elite 10 Cream

The Jabra Elite 10 is Jabra's new flagship from the Elite series. Music sounds balanced at both high and low volumes. The spatial audio sound reproduction provides spatial sound and I think it is a good addition. Unfortunately, it does cause reverberation on some songs.

Balanced sound
I listen to a lot of EDM and indie rock music. I notice that the sound reproduction is balanced in both styles of music. I notice that at both high and low volume, the music does not lose quality. I hear the high, mid and low tones all equally clearly at any volume. I often hear at low volume that the earbuds lack bass, but that is not the case with these earbuds. This allows me to listen to high-quality music under all circumstances.

Nice fit
The included ear tips have an oval shape. This shape makes them fit more securely in my ear, even during exercise, than round ear tips. This means they fit comfortably in my ears even during long listening sessions. I simply screw the earbuds into my ears. First I make sure the eartip fits properly and then I twist the eartip into place.

Spatial audio
The earbuds have spatial audio. With this technique, music sounds as if you were there. For example, drums sound on the left and guitars on the right. In that case, with dynamic head tracking, the instruments stand still. When I turn my head to the left, the drums sound in front of me and the guitar sounds behind me. This function works well for different music styles, such as rock. I think spatial audio is a less good addition to electronic music. I often hear reverberation that causes some elements of the music to disappear. Fortunately, I don't notice this with rock and EDM.

Strong noise canceling
Like other Jabra earbuds, the Elite 10 have strong noise cancellation. When I walk through a busy center and turn on noise canceling, all I hear is my music. I like this when I walk home after a busy day at work. I also think the HearThrough mode is a nice addition. In this mode I can hear ambient noise well, but not too loudly. I also continue to hear music clearly.

Simple app
I adjust various settings with the Sound+ app. For example, I turn spatial audio on and off or adjust the sound reproduction with an equalizer. This way I emphasize the bass if I want, or on the treble. Jabra provides 8 presets in the app. These are preset settings for bass, mid and treble. Personally, I like the 'Energize' preset the best. For cheerful and energetic music such as indie pop, this preset emphasizes the bass and treble. This enhances the sound experience of this music, making me completely immersed in it.

Of course, there are better options. But that will also save you 150 euros. For this money you really get top quality. These earphones are included in every top 10. Very comfortable and stable in their functions. No earphone is perfect, not even the more expensive ones. But this boy is just excellent all around.
