I have just returned from a city trip, during which I spent five days walking around with my dslr with 18-105 mm lens. For the first time, the camera was not hung on a neck strap, but on the Black Rapid sport. And that was a revelation!
I have had absolutely zero point zero neck complaints in the five days, which was normally the case.
The camera hangs nicely "alongside" and the clips allow you to keep it there so that it doesn't dangle forward when you bend down.
The shoulder strap is comfortable and the strap under the armpit is adjustable and is therefore never too tight.
Ladies: the band also falls well in front (something I didn't read about in other reviews) and is therefore also very suitable for women.
I read in other reviews that the hook of the "forearm band" could come loose. I used a tie-wrap myself as a preventive measure. However, I don't think the hook has come loose and the construction was only hanging on the tie-wrap.
Only downside is the fact that the Black Rapid goes into the tripod socket. As a result, you cannot place your camera properly, e.g. when you sit down somewhere. But in my opinion this disadvantage does not outweigh all the advantages of the Black Rapid Sport Breathe!
