What a brilliant idea and design to store your hand mixer conveniently, compactly and cleanly!
You simply stick the whisks between the handle and the base, wrap the cord in the slot, click the lid on and you're done! Well, almost.... The kneading hooks click into the bottom of the lid, I had a bit more trouble with that. It took me a while to realize that there is apparently a difference between the left and right opening & hook and there is a neat image of which one should go in which opening. But even then it is a bit awkward to fiddle around in a narrow lid, while you do have to put some force with your fingers to click them into place. If you have less strength in your hands like me, or have large hands, that is a bit more difficult. But I hardly ever use the kneading hooks anyway so that is not a disaster.
The storage lid has a handle that makes it easy to put away and pick up. Even the ventilation of the mixer is neatly covered with a measuring spoon, which gives it a nice smooth closed storage situation. The smooth, hard plastic is also very easy to clean, so it can simply be left somewhere on the counter and still stay nice and clean.
It is also an excellent mixer in use. It fits well in the hand. The whisks and kneading hooks click in and out well, and remain firmly in place while working. It has 5 settings, so you can vary the beating force nicely. These can be easily adjusted with your thumb while beating. It stays firmly on its bottom if you want to let it drip above the mixing bowl. I do have the idea that the whisks and kneading hooks are a bit small and short, but they do their job well, provided that your mixing bowl is not too high or you think that you can beat your pancake batter in the measuring mixing cup.
Whipped cream, pancake batter, frothing eggs, cake batter, pudding, simple mixing and blending all works well for it.
I always find kneading hooks on a mixer so-so, and that is no different with this mixer. My fairly firm, dry cookie dough clearly cost him some effort and I didn't think it was a success with my pizza dough either. Then I'd rather choose another option.
All in all an okay mixer that stands out for me because of its storage system.
