Description

Turn your internal 2.5-inch HDD or SSD into an external HDD or SSD with the ACT AC1215 2.5-inch SATA Hard Drive Enclosure. This enclosure is screw-less, so you don't need any extra tools. Click your 2.5-inch HDD or SSD into the enclosure, plug in the SATA cable, and take your drive everywhere with you. The AC1215 has a USB 3.2 connector, so you can transfer data in a few seconds. You can also use this USB cable to supply power. That way, you don't need an extra connector or socket to use your HDD or SSD.

Defective product and poor service, money gone.

It's a rubbish product. DO NOT BUY. I've lost my money, and that thing can go in the trash. starts at a reasonable speed of 60MB/s, but drops after 10 seconds to between 5-20MB/s and stays in between. Nice if you have to fill up a 2TB drive as a backup. coolblue points to the manufacturer. manufacturer does nothing except send a new cable which is not the problem. Well sir, then it is your USB port or the HDD. well, the HDD comes from a laptop where it easily achieved 70MB/s. and I have several WD my passport drives that maintain a continuous speed of 60-70MB/sec even with 4Tb full capacity. You have been warned about this product. I've lost my money, and that housing can be thrown in the trash because it's of no use to me with these kinds of crazy speeds. I won't buy anything else here either, due to the lack of service.
