High-sided skillets
A skillet, also called sauté pan, is not much different from a frying pan with a higher and straight edge. The straight edge ensures that a skillet better lends itself to preparing one-pan dishes and larger quantities than a frying pan. You can easily scoop the ingredients without going over the edge. In addition, there are many snack pans that are supplied with a lid so that ingredients can be simmered without losing the moisture.
