How do you descale your De'Longhi PrimaDonna?
Get started with descaling
In the video, we'll explain step by step how to descale your De’Longhi PrimaDonna coffee machine. These are the steps we'll go through:
- Step 1. Prepare the machine for descaling and start the descaling program
- Step 2. Start the first rinse
- Step 3. Start the second rinse
You need:
- De'Longhi descaler
- 2L container
How often should you descale?
You only have to descale your De'Longhi once every 2 to 3 months, as long as you replace the water filter in time. That's because the water filter prevents a large part of the limescale. Don't have a water filter? Keep in mind that you'll have to descale your machine more often. How often depends on the hardness of your tap water and how many cups of coffee you make each day.
