I chose these headphones to test how noise canceling works and I am very pleased with them. Ambient noise such as other people talking or noise is filtered out very nicely so that you can enjoy silence or music. The sound quality of the music is also very good. Also calling, the sound is good and clear. The disadvantage is that noise canceling during calls only works for the person wearing the headphones and not for the person on the other end of the line. But I think if you want that too you will end up in a more expensive segment. Using and pairing is quick and easy. And the extra functions via the app for the noise canceling are also simple. The headphones look solid and beautiful. Feels solid. It is a bit heavy and tight on the head in the beginning, but that can take some getting used to. These headphones are perfect for traveling and listening to music. Because of the beautiful sound it gives, but even more because of the peace that the noise canceling gives

Good headphones! Before this I had the 650 series. Design is nicer and the automatic shutdown is a good improvement. I read some reviews about too tight. I have a nice round head and it was indeed a bit tight at first. But hey, not everyone eats and drinks as much as I do. If JBL made headphones for my head size, they wouldn't fit slim people. Unfortunately for me, I had to bite through the sour apple. In the end, the headphones also adapted to my head. Good thing, too

I've owned the JBL live 660NC for almost 3 weeks now, this opportunity came up and given the cold time of year it seemed like a nice thing to do.

The operation takes some getting used to, especially because it has all smaller buttons in one row (all buttons on one ear too)
So look for the right button (especially with gloves on)

As I get it, you have 4 positions;
1 noise canceling
2 light mixture with ambient noise (nice in traffic
3 a lot of ambient noise so that the bicycle is not recommended (a lot! wind noise) but it is in the shop because then you hear what people around you are saying about you.
4 (talk trough) can be reached with a double tap on the button, if you really want to hear what is being said (a lot of ambient noise and music plays softly in the background), but then you might miss beautiful moments of your music.

You can activate your assistant with a voice command, but you can also tap on your (left) ear cup, hold it down and you can leave a message, with 2 taps it reads your messages (very useful if you are cycling in the rain and cold). and don't feel like stopping, taking your phone out of your pocket and reading in the rain and cold that your wife is texting you with just a thumbs up because you sent that you are coming home)

The sound is more than adequate, could be better, but certainly also worse, only at full volume with the heavier eq settings and appropriate music it can crack in the bass, but you have to find your way around (much better for your hearing also of course)

Hands-free, by the way, it does better than many others (I notice from the caller on the other side), you can hear it clearly, at least, until you get on your bike or even into the wind, but I think that I always have a problem with those things.

With a full battery I can safely cycle a few days of work and do sports with it, so there are really no complaints about that
