Second Chance Denon DP-450USB

First of all, the good:
- It is a beautiful product and it is super sleek, especially because by using the hood as a standard you can place your album cover neatly next to it. Super stylish!
- Assembling was very easy thanks to the clear instructions and the way it is packed.
- The player has three RPM settings, so you can play practically any kind of record.
- With the USB connection you can digitize your records very easily.
- Sturdy, good build quality.
- The player is semi-automatic, which means that once the record is finished, the player will automatically stop spinning and the needle will go up. If you then turn the record over and put it down again, it will just spin again. Super handy! Please note: I only found out about this after weeks, because there is a button on the back with which you can turn this off and on. I didn't know this, so I didn't use it in the first place.

Dan, the bath:
- I hear a very soft hum when the player is spinning and no music is playing yet. Fortunately, this is no longer audible as soon as the music comes over.

And finally, the ugly:
I have the player in my bedroom because I always listen to my music there. There is quite a lot of (airborne) dust in my bedroom and this lands on the player and on the records when I play them. Because the hood can't be put on while playing, I can't do anything about this and I'm constantly cleaning and cleaning both the player and my records. If you're going to put your player in the bedroom, get one with a dust cover that can be lowered during play!

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I think it is a wonderful product.
