Second Chance eufy 3-in-1 E20

With the Eufy 3-in-1 E20, I can dust my house with one device without much effort on my part. The robot automatically cleans my floors. I occasionally vacuum myself with the stick or crumb vacuum cleaner when I drop some crumbs.

Multifunctional design
The motor unit of the Eufy E20 is removable. This allows me to remove the motor unit from the robot vacuum cleaner and easily attach a vacuum cleaner attachment. When I place the stick on the motor unit, I use it as a stick vacuum cleaner for vacuuming my hard floors and carpet. For example, with the soft dusting brush, I can quickly vacuum some crumbs from the table. This way, I use one device for all my vacuuming jobs. Because I can remove the motor unit from the robot with one push of a button, I can switch between the different functions without any effort.

Cleaning result
I read that the motor of the E20 has a suction power of 30,000 Pascal. I was curious to see how this would turn out when I got started. When I place the handle on the motor, I can easily vacuum dust, crumbs and hair from the floor. The supplied floor brush rotates. I can see that it lifts dirt off the floor so well. Even when I vacuum a carpet. When I put the motor unit back in the robot, I can see that it also vacuums neatly. It leaves no dirt behind and drives effortlessly through my house. This is due to the robot's object detection. It recognizes objects on the floor and neatly drives around them. This way, it doesn't skip spots and doesn't keep bumping into furniture. I do think it's a shame that the robot doesn't have a mopping function. As a result, it doesn't wipe stains off the floor and sometimes some fine dust is left behind.

Base station
I think the base station is a handy addition. The dust container empties automatically in it. When the robot notices that its dust container is full, it automatically drives back to the base station. This way, I don't pay attention to this myself and the robot doesn't stop in the middle of its cleaning round. This makes the robot a bit more independent. In addition, it charges automatically in the base station.

Our first robot vacuum cleaner, called Mathilde, and I am very satisfied. Setting different zones and you can set a different suction power for carpets. The vacuum cleaner is very accurate and also goes over the base of the dining table chairs, with a run-up. You can set it to automatically vacuum the kitchen every evening after dinner, for example. Ideal.

Mathilde needs half an hour for 60m2, including avoiding obstacles. And then everything is really clean, even the corners.

The automatic emptying does make a lot of noise and the dustbuster is not comfortable to hold. In addition, it is not possible to add zones after mapping, nor to remove spaces afterwards. For example, it also scans the garden as a space (through the glass), which we are unable to remove.

My husband has never interfered so often with vacuuming... he stands there and watches :-) the cats fly out the door as soon as Mathilde is turned on.

Not recommended. Unfortunately the product broke within 1 month. A lot of rasping noise from the motor. Seemed like a nice solution. As a stick vacuum cleaner it was very disappointing. Little suction power. As a robot it functioned less than promised. Entire floor surface was not covered with 1 battery charge. Robot got stuck several times. Did go over an edge, but then did not go back over the same edge. Area could not be blocked in the app. Product now returned. There was no new one in stock so I opted for money back and tried something else.
