Second Chance LG UltraFine 32UQ85R-W

The LG 32UQ85R-W is a great screen when you get started with graphically demanding tasks. The 4K image is razor-sharp and the colors come out very nicely. In addition, the 32-inch screen is large enough for pleasant multitasking, and you can adjust it as desired for a comfortable sitting position. To test the monitor, I went about my daily work and photo editing. I also watched a 4K movie.

Lots of connection options
Thanks to the various connections, I easily connected the monitor to a laptop or desktop. The best connection is the USB-C port, which combines data, power, and image in one. The charging capacity is 65 watts, with which you can easily charge a laptop battery while working. This way you always have a full battery when you leave the office. In addition, you can keep the HDMI and DisplayPort ports of the monitor free for other accessories.

Razor-sharp image and vibrant colors
Due to the 4K resolution, the image has 3,840 by 2,160 pixels. This makes it almost 4 times sharper than a Full HD screen, and almost 2 times sharper than a QHD screen. In short, you enjoy very sharp images, which come out extra beautifully thanks to the 10-bit color depth. For convenience I watched a nature film and I had to capture the image of the snake. The scales almost came through the screen, making this monitor completely suitable for photo and video editing. A small test on Adobe Photoshop made this even clearer.

Great overview during work
Thanks to the 32-inch screen, the monitor is large enough for multiple tasks at the same time. For convenience, I opened the Coolblue homepage, and you can see almost the entire site at a glance. I connected this screen to my Mac mini M2. First I tested a Philips screen. Then I ordered this LG screen on the advice of some people in the graphics industry. However, this LG screen is not better than the Philips screen. The screen can be calibrated, which I have not done. The build quality is somewhat disappointing. The design and sound quality is better than some other screens.
