We were allowed to test this espresso machine and I was really looking forward to it. I was especially curious about the milk frother. We only use plant-based milk, which is often more difficult to froth. We selected our own machine for this, so I couldn't wait to test it on this one.
When the machine came to us, I was amazed at its compact size. The design is also beautiful and it looks like a gem on your countertop.
Installing the machine went quite quickly, the disadvantage is that the QR code did not work. Downloaded the app myself, it contains many recipes that you can try with the machine, fun!
The milk frother does exactly what I hoped. It foams well and makes firm foam (soy milk, oat milk, almond milk). I was also surprised at how easy it is to clean. The quick clean option cleans the spout so that it can go into your refrigerator clean. Cleaning the frother is completely easy. The frother consists of two parts that you click apart. You rinse it and you're done. I have never seen such an easy system before.
What I find special is the silent-brew technique, because I expect little noise. I think that the grinding of the beans is indeed gentler than with our own machine. But making the coffee and frothing the milk still makes a lot of noise, which in my opinion negates the silent-brew technique.
The 20 coffee options that the machine offers are very versatile. You can also adjust each option to your own taste and save it in your own flavor profile. This way you don't have to set your favorite cup of coffee every time.
The only disadvantage in our opinion is the cheap feeling you get from the water reservoir, which is somewhat flexible plastic. The reservoir slides nicely into the machine, so you can't leak.
We are convinced, we actually don't want to lose this machine anymore. We would recommend him to everyone.
