Thanks to the powerful M2 processor, the iPad Pro (2022) can effortlessly handle the toughest tasks. I work accurately on the large, clear screen, but it is difficult to hold this model with one hand.

Powerful and fast M2 processor
The M2 processor of the iPad Pro (2022) is the same as that in the MacBook Pro (2021). That makes this tablet just as powerful as a premium MacBook. I experience how powerful and fast the processor is when I use heavy programs, such as Adobe Photoshop. The program runs effortlessly. Graphical games from Apple Arcade don't falter either. Multitasking is also no problem with this model and thanks to Stage Manager it is now even easier. That function shows my recently opened apps on the side of my screen, so that I can easily switch between apps.

Large, bright and sharp screen
I'm testing iPad Pro (2022) 12.9 inch, so I have an extra large screen. This format also has a Liquid Retina XDR screen. That is sharper and brighter than the screen of the iPad Pro (2022) 11 inches. The large screen works very well: I have a lot of work space and work in detail on all my illustrations. Thanks to the 120 Hz refresh rate, animations and videos appear smoothly on the screen.

Hovering and other functions with Apple Pencil
With the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) with the iPad Pro (2022), I can work even more accurately and easily navigate through my iPad. Thanks to the new hover function, I can see in advance exactly where the tip of Pencil will be on the screen. This is especially useful when illustrating, because it means I no longer draw wrong lines. If I tap the stylus twice, the Pencil switches from pencil to eraser in Adobe Photoshop. Unfortunately, you have to buy the Apple Pencil 2 yourself; it is not included as standard with iPad Pro (2022).

Wi-Fi 6E support
iPad Pro (2022) supports the lightning-fast WiFi 6E network. That means you have an even faster WiFi connection. But in practice I notice little difference with iPad models that support WiFi 5.0.

Better charging cable
The box now contains a nylon USB-C to USB-C charging cable. A small, but good improvement, because nylon cables break less quickly than plastic cables. There is also a USB-C charger in the iPad Pro (2022) box. This allows you to easily recharge this iPad.

I first ordered the iPad Pro 11, but I regretted it more every day…
I actually didn't dare to take on the big 12.9. I thought it was too difficult, especially to have with you on the couch or bed, for example.
But no, you're so used to it and then you don't know any better..
I was able to send it back, got my full money back, and ordered the bigger one.
It arrived with a tiny scratch at the top left, and I couldn't live with it..
I am one of those boxes who still has her iPad and iPhone scratch-free 6 years later..
Instead of being declared crazy, it was taken seriously by Coolblue and I now have a new iPad.
