JBL Live Buds 3 Purple

The earbuds are beautifully designed and fit well because of the different sized caps that are included. The storage box is handy because of the touchscreen screen, so you don't necessarily have to use the app. The battery of the storage box lasts a long time, just like the earbuds. The sound of the earbuds is very good. But, what was the most important reason for me to buy these earbuds: Noise cancelling, so switching off ambient noise. And these JBL livebuds are supposed to have a good and extensive noise cancelling function. However, it is downright bad. Even with the audio compensation filter that would adjust the noise cancelling to your ear canal and the adaptive control at maximum (so no ambient noise), I hear all ambient noise right through my music. Very annoying and a waste of these quite expensive earbuds... I expected more from them. My old (and cheaper) Sony Linkbuds were a lot better. Hopefully, JBL will make further improvements with updates so that it is not a complete waste of money.

I am very surprised by the excellent quality of these jbl Livebuds 3. Until now I was addicted to the premium earphones from Sony but it is clear to me that these earphones are in many ways not inferior to the Sony's. As far as wearing comfort is concerned I have to say that they are very comfortable due to their limited weight and good earplugs (different sizes are provided). The presence of the screen on the box is also very pleasant to quickly change some settings. You can also connect these earphones to multiple devices at the same time (it took me a while to find out how to do this - not really intuitive) which is quite handy and the sound quality is, as you would expect from JBL, excellent. If I have to give some negative points, this will mainly be about the size of the accompanying charging box which is large, in addition the noise canceling is very good, but certainly not super. In short, within the medium high range, excellent earphones.

I am very happy with my JBL Live Buds 3. They have a good sound quality and can be loud enough (but not too loud that you immediately get hearing damage). You can adjust the settings via the case. This makes it easy to set the earplugs to your personal preference, without having to use your smartphone every time. At first I thought this would be very complicated, but that is not the case at all! In addition, the noise cancelling is really effective. In busy environments such as public transport or in the office, the earplugs filter out ambient noise well, so that you can fully concentrate on your music or work. I find the ambient noise function very useful on the bike. This means that I am not surprised by a car passing by. Another plus is the robustness of these earplugs. They have fallen once, but there was not a single scratch to be seen. For the clumsy people among us, this is a good sign: they are sturdy enough to withstand a knock! Despite being pricey I think they are worth the money, these are Buds that I think I can enjoy for a long time to come.
