BISSELL SpotClean HydroSteam Pro

The BISSELL SpotClean HydroStream Pro exceeded my expectations. With its compact design it is easy to maneuver in small spaces. Although the device is heavy, it is useful that the device has wheels. In terms of suction power, it is sufficient to freshen sofas, carpets and interiors, making my carpets and upholstery look like new. The multi-stage cleaning system provides a thorough clean without leaving residue, while also being suitable for removing pet stains, which is a huge plus for pet owners. The simple controls complete the ease of use, and the portable construction makes it easy to move from room to room. In short, the BISSELL SpotClean HydroStream Pro is a must-have for anyone looking for a powerful, versatile and easy-to-use stain remover.

Device has now been used a number of times. Before cleaning the doormats (synthetic sizes), please vomit the permanent spot of the cats. Result after steam cleaning, the mats are nice and fresh again and ready to be dirty again. Very nice that the stains are no longer visible and the room smells significantly fresher again. Furthermore, the device is used in the bathroom on, among other things, emerging mold spots and water limescale stains, it takes a little more time than normal, but the bathroom looks like new again! What we still have to try is cleaning the curtains, lounge cushions, car mats, still plenty of ideas.
Furthermore, it is a very compact and powerful device, but it makes relatively more noise than we expected. Furthermore, the cord is nice and long, so you don't have to mess around in the bathroom. The hose of the device is also long enough to work well in the room. Cleaning the device is a piece of cake.
I just haven't figured out yet whether you can leave the clean water with the cleaning agent in the machine and can you also use other products from a different brand than Bissell itself?

I was able to test the Bissell SpotClean HydroSteam for a few weeks via review.nl.
It was delivered in a large box so I was a bit worried that it was a huge device but it wasn't. I was able to get started quickly because the manual was very easy to read; no reams of text, but images. There is also a card on the device where you can quickly see which setting you can use in which situation. Handy! However, I noticed that the steam setting did not work sufficiently on the upholstery of, for example, the dining room chairs and the car seats. So I used the same setting as I needed for the carpet, which makes the fabric wetter. With steaming alone, I did not see any dirt disappear into the nozzle.
The bottle of cleaning agent that is included is small. Fortunately, I had already read this in another review so I ordered a bottle for pets. However, this did not sufficiently remove the urine odor of our puppy from the carpet and it also did not remove the stubborn stains from the flood carpet. I later bought the Spot & stain and oxygen boost and this product worked much better. Too bad the product is so easy to use and there is so much confusion about cleaning products. As far as I'm concerned, an (expensive) device like this should simply be supplied with the best product that does what it's supposed to do: remove stubborn stains and odors and leave a fresh scent. The cleaning products are expensive so it's very disappointing if it doesn't do what you expect.

I wouldn't clean carpets on a wooden floor. The carpet needs to be soaked well to get all the dirt out. This also makes the bottom of the carpet wet.

For cleaning car upholstery, I would have preferred the vacuum cleaner hose to be a bit longer. Then the device could have been left outside on the ground.
