Description
The Synology DS1621+ NAS is ideal as a database for a small office. It supports over 10 users at a time, who can all save their files on it. You can place up to 6 hard drives in the NAS and store up to 108TB worth of files. In addition to business use, the DS1621+ is also suitable for personal use. You can use it as a cloud or media server, for example. Save your photos, videos, movies, or music on the NAS and stream them to your home cinema. You can create several RAID setups to save and back files up at the same time, for example. This Synology NAS uses a Synology Drive Server. With this program, you can manage and edit all of your uploaded files from connected devices. Not satisfied with the speed of your hard drive? The DS1621+ has room for 2 M.2 NVMe SSDs to make your drives run 20x faster. The advantage of these extra slots is that you won't have to give up a slot for a hard drive.

- No sound
- Expandable up to 64GB RAM
- Separate M.2 slots
Have tested different Synology models for years and this is the most complete ever. Use it for Docker and Virtual Machine Manager, M.2 cache with all drive bays filled. No comment for this price category, only the Xeon versions are better in performance, but you also pay a lot more for that.
