When you work out with the Shokz OpenMove, you can stay aware of your environment. These earbuds use bone conduction, which allows you to hear both music and ambient noise. Instead of putting these bone conduction earbuds directly in your ears, you let them rest on your cheekbones. The sound is transmitted to the inner ear via vibrations. There are 3 sound settings that you can select depending on your music or situation. These are standard, vocal booster, and earbud mode, the last of which is intended for the included earbuds. You can use these if you want to hear less ambient noise. With PremiumPitch 2.0, you can put the earbuds in the optimum position on the cheekbones, which ensures less extra vibrations and a higher volume. And thanks to the waterproof design, you can wear your earbuds during every workout session. Even outside in the rain.
Note: bone conduction earbuds are less suitable for people who wear glasses.
Bone conduction
Because Bone Conduction earbuds don't go directly into your ear canal, your eardrums are skipped entirely. When the vibrations are transmitted to the cochlea via your cheekbones, they end up in your brain. This way, you keep your ears free and don't run any risk of damaging your hearing.
Note: Shokz does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories or purchase them separately.
