A door-in-door fridge is an American fridge that consists of an inside and an outside door. In the compartment behind the outer door, you can put products that you need often, for example a carton of milk or eggs. The advantage of a fridge with a door-in-door system is that you can grab those products extra quickly, and that you'll save energy. That's because less cold air escapes.
