What does Second Chance mean?

A Second Chance product is a product that has been returned or exchanged by a customer. The product is checked by us and if it's in good condition, we give it a second chance. We'll tell you what is wrong with all Second Chance products. We describe it clearly and show the proof in the photo. That way, you know exactly what to expect.

By offering Second Chance products, we help you and the environment move forward.

  • Reduced price: even though there is almost no difference with the brand new product, we offer Second Chance products with a nice discount.
  • Go for Green: by offering Second Chance products ourselves, we avoid unnecessary disposal and destruction of products.

What can I expect of a Second Chance product?

Second Chance products have been checked by us and you can expect that they're still in good condition. We distinguish various condition classes. This information can be found on the website, to the right of the product. Below, you can find an overview of all possible condition.

  • Like new: the product isn't damaged.
  • Slight traces of use: the product has traces of use that you can expect with normal use, such as fine scratches on the edge of the product. Photos of the damage are attached.
  • Visibly damaged: the product has visible damage, such as scratches and dents. Photos of the damage are attached.

What are the Terms and Conditions of Second Chance?

The same conditions apply to Second Chance as to new products. This means you can return products within 30 days for free and always get a 2-year warranty. There are a few differences:

  • You can't get extra insurance for your Second Chance product
  • Cashback promotions and promotions that include free accessories don't apply to Second Chance products.
  • You can't use (personal) discounts for Second Chance products, but you can pay with gift cards.
  • It might be that a Second Chance product has been repaired by us or the manufacturer, in that case we indicate this clearly.
  • You can't pick up your product in the store or reserve it.

Where can I buy Second Chance products?

You can find Second Chance products in the Second Chance overview. In the menu on the left, you can filter by type or product brand.

How are Second Chance products delivered?

With Second Chance products, you can expect the same delivery as with new products. Ordered before 23:59, delivered tomorrow.

Can I order a Second Chance product via the app?

No, it's technically not possible to buy a Second Chance product via our app. You can order a Second Chance product via the web browser of your mobile phone, outside of the app.

What can I expect of the accessories?

Second chance products can be complete, incomplete, damaged, and undamaged. You can find this information on the website to the right of the product.

Do I have a warranty on a Second Chance product?

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee with Second Chance products. Outside of these 30 days, you'll get the 2-year warranty you're used to from us.

You can easily register your return or repairs online via the online return form.

Can I return my Second Chance product?

Yes. Second Chance products have the same return requirements as new products. You can easily register your return in the online return form.

How do you set the price for a Second Chance product?

We set the discount for a Second Chance product based on the condition of the product and if the stock of the product. It's not possible to negotiate the price.

What can I expect from the packaging?

The packaging can be opened, damaged, or repackaged in all conditions. Do you want to know which packaging the Second Chance product has? This information can be found on the website, to the right of the product.

  • Opened: The original packaging is hardly damaged or not at all. Examples are small folds at the opening or dents in the corners.
  • Damaged: The original packaging has visible damage, such as tears, dents, sticker residue, or parts of the printing that have been lost.
  • Repackaged: There is no original packaging around it anymore, but the product has been repackaged in a sturdy Coolblue box.
