A kamado BBQ is a special kind of charcoal barbecue with a thick, ceramic tub and lid. A kamado barbecue, or ceramic barbecue, is based on the millennia-old Kamado cooking technique from Japan. Thanks to the thick casing, the barbecue retains heat and moisture, and you'll have good control of the temperature. In terms of appearance, a kamado BBQ looks a bit like an egg. It's also efficient with its use of charcoal. Partly thanks to the many possible accessories, this barbecue can create delicious dishes.
