First impression of the JBL Live Pro+
When I unbox the earbuds, I directly notice that they're a lot more compact than many other true wireless JBL earbuds. The charging case easily fits in my pocket without feeling annoying. When I put the earbuds in my ears, I notice that they fit well. They don't stick out much, which I like.
Recognizable design
These earbuds are similar to the Apple AirPods Pro in terms of the design. Both have an in-ear design with a short stick that points downwards. This stick distributes the weight better, which allows them to stay in my ears better. They're firm and comfortable during an average listening session. When I listen to music for 4 hours or longer with the earbuds, they're starting to bother me.
Suitable for many genres
I mostly listen to dance music, but enjoy hiphop and Dutch music just as much. These 3 genres are offered in high quality. During my favorite dance and hiphop records, the kicks sound powerful and deep, and I enjoy clear vocals with the other songs. This makes me enjoy a wide scala of genres.
Decent noise canceling
The noise cancellation works reasonably well, but isn't at the level of high-end, noise-canceling headphones. Ambient noise and white noise are reduced by a lot, and I'm not bothered by the noise around me as much. I'm not closed off from my surrounds entirely. If I want this, I use my headphones.
Extensive options in the app
To adjust the settings of the JBL Live Pro+, I download the My JBL Headphones app. You can use this app with many JBL earbuds, but it's a lot more extensive for this model. It doesn't just allow me to change the audio via the equalizer, but many other settings as well. I change the touch controls, choose a more stable Bluetooth connection, and perform a fitting test. Thanks to this, I can adjust the earbuds entirely according to my own liking.
Conclusion
The compact design and the in-ear design of the JBL Live Pro+ ensure that the earbuds fit well into my ears. I'm also enthusiastic about the high sound quality, the noise canceling, and all the other settings in the app. This makes the JBL Live Pro+ the best JBL earbuds for me from the ones that I tested.
