Description

The Starlink Mini is a smaller version of the Starlink satellites. It only weighs 1.1kg, so you can also take it with you on a hike. With a Starlink Mini, you have internet everywhere in the world. You can aim the receiver with the Starlink app so you can make contact with the Starlink satellites. After that, the Mini emits a WiFi signal, so you can establish a wireless connection with your smartphone or laptop. The satellite can withstand extreme temperatures and is dustproof and water-resistant. That means you can also take it with you on challenging adventures. To use it, you need a subscription from € 40 per month. You can cancel or pause this subscription monthly.

A good purchase

  • The range of the router is very limited, if you are further than 10 meters from the device it is difficult to connect.

This was a test to see if this solution was useful for me, being able to work anywhere is handy and easy to do with the Starlink solution. The GBs are going fast so with unlimited roaming I am happy. Only the MSTeams application often has a drop in the connection. That is the only application that I have problems with every now and then. The solution is to turn off your own camera.

Out of the box, set up and didn't even have to do any complicated aiming. It worked very fast. And the internet is faster than at home via cable. Crazy.
