The TCL QD Mini-LED 65C71N (2024) is a modern television with a high brightness. The screen has a peak brightness of 2400 nits. That way, even in well-lit rooms bright images look clear. That's useful if you like to watch TV during the day. Thanks to the Mini-LED backlight, you can enjoy high-contrast images. This technology uses thousands of small LED lights that light up or dim individually. You don't see a glow around dark objects, so images look more realistic. Thanks to the QLED image technology, the TV displays a wide color gamut. You can see all subtle color details and create immersive images. The TV has a built-in subwoofer for extra powerful audio. Deep tones sound lifelike because of this, like the sound effects of an action movie.

Clear picture with good sound through the built-in soundbar

I enjoy clear images with the TCL C71N. Thanks to the small LED lights that light up or dim individually, dark images look clear in my illuminated living room. Convenience When I install the television, I immediately notice that the remote control fits comfortably in the hand. The remote control has buttons that allow me to navigate directly to Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. This allows me to watch my favourite film or series in just a few clicks. On the home page, I see an overview of all my favourite streaming services and I get useful tips based on my viewing history. This way, I get content that suits my interests. Image quality I notice that the TV screen is very bright and clear, even in illuminated rooms. This is due to the high peak brightness of 2000 nits. Dark objects do not have a light glow, so I can see the details well even in a bright room. This TV has QLED mini-LED technology, with quantum dots and mini-LED backlighting. The quantum dots provide vibrant colours and a wide colour spectrum. The thousands of mini LEDs provide sharp, clear images. Dark parts remain really black without disturbing light, which I like. Even in a bright room I can see details clearly. Thanks to the strong contrast and smooth movements I enjoy an extra realistic viewing experience, especially during football matches. Sound This television has 3 built-in speakers, which provide clear sound for all my favorite movies and series. Together with the built-in subwoofer the sound sounds clear, but it lacks the power of a soundbar. Still, it is sufficient for daily use and provides a nice viewing experience.

After a long search and endless comparisons I ended up with this TV. Not regretted this purchase for a moment. Razor-sharp image with 2000 nits of brightness. Gaming on the PS5 with 120hz, films with HDR and Dolby Vision/Atmos. Excellent sound without the use of a soundbar because of the built-in speaker. User-friendly thanks to GoogleTV. TCL is conquering the market with these types of TVs and now I understand why.

  • Ecar connection for sound via soundbar.
  • starts up quickly
  • default colors were not nice

Setting it up was a bit tricky with the google home app, but eventually it worked. I was able to install all the apps I needed.
