I have updated my indoor cycling set-up from a posa 2 ELITE tripod with laptop to a Wahoo cycling desk with this 27 inch samsung monitor connected to my 4K Apple TV what a difference. Since I switched from the old ZWIFT program to the new RPUVY program I immediately noticed a big update and improvement in indoor cycling software, ROUVY is a much better program than ZWIFT and cheaper however I had one problem with ROUVY, ROUVY is made for larger screens and not for laptops and certainly not for tablets this became immediately clear when I could hardly read the small numbers of the distance and altitude meters at the bottom of the screen while cycling. because I find ROUVY much better than ZWIFT I decided to invest in an upgrade of my indoor cycling set-up I then purchased a Wahoo cycling desk that is adjustable in height and has a rubber anti-slip coating so that nothing can slide off and has a load capacity of up to 22 kg I already had a 4K Apple TV and installed the ROUVY app on it, and then I just needed a monitor with HDMI input and chose this 27 inch QHD HDR10 Samsung monitor and I am very happy with my choice, the screen has good image quality and works perfectly with Apple TV that is linked with Bluetooth to the Wahoo kikr core smart trainer Now I can at least read the small numbers at the bottom of distance and altitude meters well and the numbers of speed, slope percentage and wattage in the upper left corner are also much clearer Rouvy uses real streetview images and with this good quality screen they come into their own 27 inches is the perfect size for the ROUVY indoor cycling app I recommend this monitor to everyone for indoor cycling. Don't get too hung up on the refresh rate of monitors for indoor cycling because an Apple TV doesn't give more than 60 Hz so with a gaming monitor of 180 Hz you only get 60 Hz out of it with the Apple TV go for a higher resolution up to Quad HD and HDR10 support because ROUVY does not support 4K UHD and supports maxium 2K or Quad HD So you don't have to buy a 4K screen if you only want to use it for that or it should be that ROUVY decides to upscale their resolution from 2K QHD to 4K UHD in the future but this is not the case yet
