Description

Edit photos and videos in Adobe programs on the LG UltraFine 27UQ850V-W 27-inch 4K HDR monitor. The 4K resolution is almost 4 times sharper than Full HD, so you can see even the smallest details. That way, you can easily make the most accurate edits in graphics software. Colors also look vibrant thanks to the HDR10 and DisplayHDR 400 support. Spend a lot of time behind your monitor? Adjust it in height or tilt the screen for a comfortable work posture. You're also less easily bother by strained eyes thanks to the blue light filter and flicker-free technology.

Not my best purchase.

  • Defective pixel after one and a half months of use

After a month and a half of use, there is a defective pixel that only displays green. One defective pixel is not covered by the warranty. Apart from that, the image quality is excellent. The screen has a built-in USB-C Dock. But the USB-A ports only have USB 2 speed. This is not mentioned anywhere in the specifications on the LG site or on the Coolblue site. You operate the screen with one multifunctional button. The response speed of this is slow to switch on the device or wake it from sleep mode.

  • Built-in speakers mean little

This monitor produces beautiful deep blacks and excellent color reproduction. The built-in Maxx Audio worsens the sound rather than improving it.

  • The base of the stand does its job well, but gets in the way because of its design.

I like this screen a lot, except for two things: The stand isn't well designed and the USB-A ports don't really support anything. Other than that, a very good monitor, especially if you take its price into account.
