TP-Link Archer BE800

The Archer is directly connected to my fiber optic. It is nice and sturdy and stable in its place. My old modem from the internet provider now serves as an extra switch and also as a WiFi access point in the attic. LED show on the device is not necessary for me, so I turned it off. Via the app you get a nice overview of, among other things, the devices that are connected within your network and the Archer. Functions for parental control are limited. But if you want more functions in this, you have to pay for it. Somehow I have not yet managed to get WiFi6 permanently visible and to connect all WiFi6 devices to it. (I am not a computer technician, but with the knowledge I have I would have expected to solve this a bit faster) Make sure that the rest of your network is also tuned to 2.5/10Gbit, think of the right cables, switch, network cards etc. Otherwise you will not get much out of it.

Have now been using it for 2.5 months. The router is directly connected to the fiber optic ONT of the well-known "green-colored provider" via the 10Gbit WAN port. The provider provides a symmetrical 1Gbit internet connection (XGS-PON) and this router can easily handle that. Everything shows that this router can handle much higher internet speeds... Also good to know; This router supports VLANs on the WAN side. This allows you to set up the internet, TV and telephone correctly so that you do not need a provider router for your fiber optic connection. Of course, this router also works fine behind a cable modem in bridge mode. The router has a lot of options and some knowledge of network settings is useful. In the 2.5 months that I have been using this router, there have been 2 firmware updates that have fixed some things. The router runs very stable, 25+ devices are connected to it. The WiFi range is really good on the ground floor of an apartment. I get very high speeds via WiFi 6/6e, 1Gbit over WiFi is perfectly possible, there are no WiFi 7 devices here yet, but that will undoubtedly be much faster. Even with little WiFi range you can still achieve very high speeds, which was different with the previous router... All in all, so far I am very satisfied with this router, excellent performance but it does have a nice price tag.
