Note:this M.2 SSD has a PCI Express 4.0 (NVMe) interface and will only work if your system supports PCIe/NVMe. This SSD also has an M key, which only fits on systems with a M-slot. Make sure to check this in the manual of your laptop or motherboard.
With the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe SSD, you can transfer files very fast. The 990 Pro is even faster than its predecessor, with a high 7450MB/s read speed and a 6900MB/s write speed. As a result, your PC boots quickly, your files open in a flash, and your games load faster. For example, you can store a 100GB game on your SSD in 20 seconds. Thanks to 2000MB cache, you can open frequently used files even faster. The Samsung 990 Pro also has a 1200TB TBW (Terabytes Written). It's a great drive with a fatal problem; many users including myself have experienced very rapid drops in disk health, causing the disk to lose more disk health in 1-2 months than it should under heavy usage over a ~2 year period.

Installation was a breeze, remove the panel from the PS5, open the cover, insert the Samsung and close everything again. Then I did a test in terms of installation speed and I honestly think that the 990 Pro is slightly faster than the standard internal disk. I installed some games on both drives for testing and the 990 Pro finished sooner every time. In addition, 2TB is of course a nice expansion in terms of storage space and because it is an m.2 disk you can also boot PS5 games directly from this storage (unlike games on an external disk). In short: recommended if your PS5 is short on space.
