Miele Boost CX1 Cat & Dog

The vacuum cleaner is super manoeuvrable due to the large wheels. Drives easily behind you and does not get stuck behind table legs. The cord is really long, so you can easily get through the whole room without having to switch sockets. We were concerned that a bagless vacuum would lack the power of an old-fashioned bagged vacuum, but this turned out to be completely wrong. Good suction power! Also easy to empty. The vacuum cleaner also feels very solid, the rod can be adjusted very high, so that the vacuum cleaner can also be used by tall people. Materials feel sturdy and durable. All in all a very nice vacuum cleaner!

A few years ago we switched from a dyson dc33 to the Miele Blizzard cx1 powerline. The Dyson has definitely given up the ghost and so we bought the “BOOST” as a supplement. With a household of three kids and a dog, you just need a good vacuum cleaner. The BOOST is a logical successor to the Blizzard. This version can finally ride better on its own cord. The lack of the comfort cord reel is a pity, but not a deal breaker. The fact that for this price there is no pistol grip with feather duster is actually a fact. At Coolblue, it is suggested on the product page that the vacuum cleaner can be operated from the pistol grip. That is not true! The feather duster is also integrated with such a pistol grip, so that was a bit disappointing for us. Finally, the turbo brush is new to us but with a tiled floor not really a serious upgrade. In terms of price, it is better to buy the € 100 cheaper "regular" version. A separate turbo brush then costs €80, so in the end you pay €20 for the Cat and Dog inscription and the black color.

Sucks up cat hair well, if the system works. Removing the dust, once a week, is a job that you have to do outside with a dust mask and gloves on! It is also complex, it is not an action, far from it. That is certainly not an advantage compared to the excellent Miele canister vacuum cleaner?!
