Google Nest Cam Indoor Wired

Since a week now the new google nest cam in the house. I also still have the old ones, so of course I put them side by side to compare the quality. The first thing that strikes you is of course the design of the camera. Really a beautiful device that is not ugly on the cupboard and can simply be seen. It also doesn't feel cheap and it's nice and heavy. Setting what happens like this is just as fast as any other google product. The day and night vision of the camera has had a major upgrade. Images are sharper and you can see everything more clearly at night. And communicating via the camera is also a lot better than with version 1. The viewing angle is also nice. If I place the camera in the corner I can see the entire room. A really nice device and ideal for keeping an eye on things.

The Nest indoor is very useful as a security camera, but also suitable for keeping an eye on your pets, such as cats. For example, I was able to see that my cat threw a number of things off the table, after I discovered that there were a lot of things on the floor. The camera can be linked to the Google Home app. Here you can also set separate zones, from which you can receive separate notifications, if you want. It is also possible to watch and speak live. This way you can let your pets know that they should leave the things on the table from now on.

Great cam, had some trouble linking to account. Finally found out. That the cam only works if it sticks to the wall plate. So be careful, otherwise you won't get it. After five days the battery is empty and then you find out that connecting to the power supply is not possible with the supplied cable, because this is for indoors ... cable for outside 40 € extra. Makes it a lot more expensive than I expected and wanted., when it says for outside and inside you also want the cable to be suitable for outside
