Thrustmaster T248 Racing Wheel for PS5, PS4, and PC

After much doubt, decide to buy this model because it is compatible with the PlayStation 5 straight out of the box and extremely convenient to use thanks to its display. Thrustmaster also has an extensive mapping of the many buttons and how to set them up per game for each game that you can play with the steering wheel. The only downside is that the shifters are a bit loud when you shift up and down while racing

Nice looking set, feels very solid and not cheap, although it is all plastic. Easy to connect; each connector has a completely different form factor, so you can't put anything in the wrong hole. The cable from the pedals to the handlebars is a bit on the short side but (just for me) long enough. The pedals also feel very solid and the 'brake pressure' can be adjusted by choosing from 2 different springs and whether or not to place a plastic ring on them. The distance between the pedals can also be adjusted using the supplied 2.5mm Allen key. The clamping system is not suitable for a 25mm thick desk. The screw with the 'clamp' does not turn deep enough into the unit, making it too loose to clamp. With a piece of MDF of 18mm in between it was a bit firmer, but with a bit of force feedback things still started to slide. I'm going to look for a sturdy, foldable seat/stand. I would only recommend the Thrustmaster T248 if you are going to use it in combination with a stand and/or racing seat, or on a thick (>40mm) desk/table top.
