The Philips 272G1G/00 is a 27-inch Full HD monitor with several functions to make working from home sustainably easier. The screen has a built-in Philips LightSensor and a PowerSensor. These 2 functions decrease the energy consumption by automatically adjusting the brightness, for example. To make working from home comfortable, you can ergonomically set up the monitor. You can turn, tilt, or adjust the monitor in height to find the right working posture. In addition, the blue light filter prevents strained eyes during prolonged use. This way, you don't get headaches and sleeplessness. Specially useful when you have to do overtime or want to watch a movie after work. Do you use peripherals? Not a problem. In addition to HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, this Philips monitor also has inputs for DVI, VGA and USB-A. This monitor is also extra sustainable, because it's made of recycled plastic. This screen is also energy-efficient thanks to the PowerSensor technology. This means the brightness of your monitor automatically decreases when you're not in front of your screen.

This monitor is definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice, large (27") screen with a calm yet sharp image. Due to the light sensor, the monitor adjusts the image to the amount of light in the room. That works well and pleasantly. I also find a big advantage that you can adjust the monitor in height as well as tilt it (also rotatable on the foot). This way you can set it in the ideal position for you. (very nice for something you use often/daily) The only thing that is really disappointing is the sound quality of the integrated speakers. It is of course known that these usually do not reach the same level as separate, external speakers, but the sound is very meager. (my Iphone 8 sounds better!) Also the blue-light option is something I don't like to use. (Everything that is white then becomes quite yellowish, which I myself experience as ugly and disturbing. Despite the minuses, I definitely recommend this monitor because of the advantages mentioned!
