The product is easy to configure and is a lot more compact compared to the HP 8620 which it replaced. It has a very fast web interface and the startup time is fast too. This is the 2nd copy I got (the 1st from another seller) but it died during the initial installation. (stuck on initializing print section). In addition, you can also purchase alternative print cartridges from the Epson and Canon. At HP, as I read on the internet, you can only use the original ones, hence this choice. Credentials are apparently required for scanning to network folder, otherwise you will get 'wifi/communication errors'. Only with the purchase of every new printer do you see the robustness deteriorating over time (thinner, lighter, etc.), but you see that with all electrical devices. Only thing I miss is that you can't set 2 or more scan profiles. But after selecting the destination, you can manually make an adjustment in the options, so for example choose whether it should be jpeg or PDF, the dpi value and other values.
