The design reminds me of Nikon's SLR cameras, but compact. My hand fits exactly around the body and felt nice. The camera has a compact design and is not heavy for a full frame camera. This ensures more wearing comfort while shooting. You do not immediately need a camera bag to go out with this kit. The body with extendable 24-50mm kit lens is light enough to hold or wear around your neck. Easy operation The control buttons and command dials are like any other camera. Think of the universal PASM dial, ISO and exposure compensation button. This made setting up the camera very easy. I can quickly change settings with the large rotary knob. For example from aperture to shutter priority. You even have 3 positions on this rotary knob that you can set to your own liking. It strikes me that I use the autofocus joystick more and more. It makes my focus point move even faster. This is more efficient than a jog wheel or a four-point button. Built-in image stabilization While shooting, I notice that the camera is stable. This Nikon Z5 has built-in image stabilization and calls it VR. The Vibration Reduction constantly compensates for my vibrations and movements. As a result, I shoot with slower shutter speeds and do not immediately need a tripod. Hand-held filming is also very smooth. In situations with less light I keep my ISO values relatively low, the stabilization provides clearer images. Image stabilization in the lens is no longer necessary, the image is free of shocks and vibrations with every Nikon lens you use. This also works with the Nikon F lenses along with the FTZ adapter.

I am super happy with the camera!! I switched from an SLR camera (Nikon D5200) to this system camera. The first time I took pictures --> wow what a difference!
