The Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 lens is fantastic to use and also excellent in many ways in terms of performance. The lower cost compared to most 85mm lenses doesn't seem to have reduced performance at all. So full credit to Sony for achieving this. The only weakness is the tendency to get flares when shooting against the sun
