Description

With a focal length of 55mm to 250mm, the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM has a large zoom range. You use it with your Canon SLR camera with EF-S mount. The zoom range makes this lens suitable for portrait, nature, animal, and sports photography, and more. The lens has image stabilization with which you win 3.5 stops. You have fast, accurate, and silent autofocus at your disposal thanks to the STM autofocus motor. This was specially developed for recording and tracking fast-moving objects. Because the front of the lens doesn't move while focusing, you can use a polarization filter.

I got this lens from the Coolblue Second Chances. On the day I received it, I was planning to go to the zoo. That is of course the perfect place to test your new lens! I clicked the lens on my Canon 1100D (I'll have to replace it soon) and was very pleasantly surprised after taking the first picture! What a great sharp photo this lens takes at 250mm, f5.6! For the relatively low purchase price, this is a lens that everyone should have in their bag. It is also a perfect complement to the standard 18-55mm lens. I can't wait to go on vacation and start taking pictures with this lens. Highly recommended!
