Dyson V8 Advanced

I have a Dyson DC62, I believe it has lasted 7 years with me. He just doesn't want to break down, doesn't want to stop his activities. I'm going to give him a quieter life elsewhere in my house now. That's…..because of a friend. He bought a Dyson V8 Absolute +. Well, only that name and the addition “+” (from plus, even more) piqued my interest. Not to mention excitement. The illuminated crevice tool not only sounds good but is extremely handy. If you vacuum the baseboards, you never actually see what you're doing, you quickly conclude that there is nothing to vacuum. But….with the lighting on that accessory…. Not a superfluous luxury to “take” those skirting boards with you. A really handy addition. The motorized mini brush is almost an even better addition. Instead of helping the beautiful carpet on the stairs to the ceilings with a plastic attachment, the mini brush rolls pleasantly over the angular steps. How do you get there; very nice! And then emptying the dust container which was a bit of a challenge. It did work, but with a certain risk. Usually it happened to me that I tried to empty that bin in a big cloud of dust outside (!) when the wind was just blowing my way. Unfortunate. But that too has been updated. You can now handle the emptying process even indoors without risk. Awesome. The sound the V8 Absolute+ makes is the sound of a vacuum cleaner having a good time. In any case, less noise than the old one, and that was fine with me. The wall charger has remained the same so drilling holes again is not necessary unless you move because of that beautiful new machine. New Dyson, new house they say. I really just wanted to say that I already loved that friend, moving in with her because of that Dyson V8 Absolutely + she thought it was a good idea, good excuse. However, I wanted a copy entirely for myself. So purchased and immediately put into use. Awesome!

Despite what other reviews have described, I think the time for charging is really fast. I've had a cheap stick vacuum before that took longer to charge and struggled to pick up even crumbs, this one does 1000 times better and takes less time. For how well it sucks and the battery life, I would have expected a half day charge. You should also not expect that a powerful product that has to be plugged into the socket will be recharged just like that. It is so easy to reach, vacuuming is no longer a punishment. My house is clean without any hassle. I think the noise level is not too bad, a regular vacuum cleaner makes more noise. And because you can easily grab it, you're ready again in no time. No more having to pay attention to whether you get snagged with the cord, your vacuum cleaner is as free as you are. I thought long and hard about a good stick vacuum, I should have taken the plunge much earlier. It may cost a little, but when you have to manage your energy like I do and don't take the heat and noise and hassle of a canister vacuum after a long day, it's well worth every penny. Instead of never vacuuming, now every day if necessary. This vacuum cleaner has made my life considerably easier. I don't want anything else.

We have a Golden Retriever who sheds a lot and likes to dive in mud puddles, so he is ideal for sand hairs, much more results than with a regular vacuum cleaner and then of course no vacuum cleaner bag
