Description

With the EufyCam S3 Pro Duo Pack + HomeBase 3, you can protect your house and garden. In comparison to the EufyCam 3, this camera has a larger built-in solar panel. This means that the battery is fully charged with only 1 hour of direct sunlight, which is twice as fast. You also receive an extra solar panel to place on a sunny spot yourself. The camera records footage in razor-sharp 4K quality, and the night vision in color is better. This way, you can see exactly what's happening in low light. The footage is stored on the HomeBase 3, so you don't need an extra cloud subscription for this. Since the camera recognizes people, animals, and objects, you get fewer false notifications. For example, you don't get a motion notification when a bird flies by.

Too expensive for the possibilities

  • Stronger mounting brackets than previous versions
  • Range of the WiFi signal from the home base.

Range of the wifi signal from the home base is too weak. Documentation speaks of a range of 25 meters but depending on the setup the range was max 10 meters, too little to be meaningful for me.

Fantastic technology for a great price

  • Image quality is really super sharp
  • Battery life is really that good!
  • Storage without expansion is sufficient for storage term within a period that you will ever want to look back on.
  • Its size makes it quite noticeable, but that's what a security camera is for.

After weeks of preparation by reading reviews, I was convinced to purchase it. The entire installation process and experiences meet expectations exactly. If you want clear images with self-managed storage and no hassle with cables, this is your product.

Nothing much to complain about, doorbell sound could be a little louder (but could be perfectly find in other houses). Sound of the microphones is okay but nothing to write home about. Other than that: Very good quality, very versatile, good video quality, extremely flexible setup options, good far reach of the cameras and the doorbell to the base station.
