The _camera_ itself is fine and (so far) reliable, but the rest is a bit mediocre. As in the negatives: - The clamp with which you attach it to your monitor/screen/etc. The seat is very weak, so it does not stand up on its own. He falls behind your screen. I reinforced it with a sturdy piece of metal wire that now supports the weight, but that's up to you. - The camera has a very wide viewing angle: you see not only your head but also half the world behind you. Unless you're sitting super close to the camera, maybe, but in that case you probably need to work on your computer posture and ergonomics. - The physical cover, to ensure that the camera doesn't see anything when you're not using it, is a separate thing that doesn't slide in somewhere or something like that. If you take it off, you have to leave it somewhere on your desk. Compatibility with Linux is fine.

Usually there is not something good to report about HP, but if you work with an HP Elitebook then you only have to plug in this webcam and everything works. (the microphone of the laptop is broken, so I put a webcam on my monitor).
