This tablet also has an S pen but without battery as with the pro version. This takes away some functionalities that I found rather far-fetched anyway. It's a pity that you can't use the back of the pen as an eraser like you do with Wacom-based pens, but you have to use the button on the side for that (which I really don't find useful). This button can also let you do other things than just erasing. What bothers me the most is that there is no decent palm detection in any app I've tried so far. Even in the Samsung Note app specially developed for that purpose, I can't just put my hand on the screen while I'm writing and I think that's a serious limitation. Writing down long texts will be tiring in my opinion. I was hoping that was a setting, but Samsung has decided that each app is responsible for this detection, so there is no default setting where you can make it extra sensitive. But there is also a lot of positive to say: the battery lasts for a long time (that's probably why it weighs so much because it contains a sturdy 10Ah battery), also with a clear screen (I have set it to show the screen only after 30 minutes). turns off).
