Sony FE 135mm f/1.8 GM

Been looking for the perfect 135mm lens for me for a while now. Tried the old vintage lenses, with fine results through smooth manual focus for portrait photography, however for landscape or street photography the resolution and contrast lag behind. Tried modern Samyang 135mm f/2 lens, which gives good photo qualities in all areas, but really excels in none. However, the manual focus is not pleasant and the lens is very large and heavy. The Sony 135 mm f/1.8 has a very fast autofocus and with Eye-off it sometimes feels like playing catch, so you can easily take beautiful portraits. The lens also delivers beautiful images for all other purposes.

Excellent 135 mm, suitable for portrait, product photography, landscape, indoor sports and for everything that comes your way that allows you to shoot with this focal point. Aperture open or squeezed makes little difference... always sharp. The autofocus speed is lightning fast and precise. No distortion or CA. Weight and size is a plus and is nicely balanced on an A7/9/1 series. Lens hood is of the better, with velvet interior, rubber edge and separate locking button. The focus ring is precise and smooth. Switch for MF/AF and focus limit is nice. Good quality carrying case included. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. This is really an excellent lens, really nothing to complain about. Top!
