The carbon filter is a pre-filter that blocks larger dust particles and absorbs smells. The HEPA filter removes finer dust particles from the air. True filter set!

This filter set is an absolute must. Never has a filter set brought me so much pleasure, comfort and living pleasure. The HEPA filter is square, white in color and made in a special zigzag pattern. Exactly right! The carbon filters (4x!) on the other hand are black and made of a completely different material. So in one set there are 5 filters; nicely put together. You can place the filters in the winix P150 air purifier, but they are also very nice to see without an air purifier. Installed in the air purifier, you don't see them, but they do filter; a decision that everyone has to make for themselves. Only downside is the packaging: that's just a boring brown box (like your mom!). However, it does well as a basis for a Sinterklaas surprise; for example for a tablet, tool set or box of merci chocolate. So well worth it!

The Winix is an excellent air purifier for the bedroom. Very quiet in night mode. But in the summer keep the curtains closed, because the Winix wakes up with the sun rising.
