Description

The Sigma 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C is a super telephoto lens you can use in combination with a Canon full-frame SLR camera for nature and sports photography. The front element of the lens has a water-repellent coating. This makes it possible to photograph while it rains. The image stabilization recognizes sideways movements and adjusts the stabilization accordingly, like when you track an object. With the manual focus ring, you can easily focus. The FLD and the 3 SLD lens elements prevent lens errors while photographing in brightly-lit situations. The optical design contains 20 elements, divided over 14 groups.

Very satisfied

  • The subjects can be brought even closer.
  • The weight, almost 2kg. You don't just shoot handheld.

For me, this 150/600 lens gets the subjects I photograph nicely close. Since I photograph birds, butterflies and other animals, I can't get too close to them without them flying or running away. This makes this lens a nice addition. I overcome the negative weight by using my tripod. Unfortunately, this makes you a little less fast/flexible, but the result is there.

  • Good sharpness also at 600 mm
  • Stabilization works well

Excellent lens for these pennies and the weight is not too bad, it takes some getting used to, I also often use a monopod, but I also shot great pictures freehand.
