Description

The Makita DHP486ZJ is one of the most powerful impact drills of the moment. It has a maximum torque of no less than 130Nm. This makes it very suitable for intensive and heavy jobs. In wood, you have a maximum drilling capacity of 50mm. If you're working with metal or stone, you can drill holes up to 16mm. Even under heavy load, the drill keeps doing its job. The speed remains constant, so you have enough power in every situation. Thanks to the dual LED lighting, you can always see what you're doing. Even in the dark. Great machine!

  • Very powerful
  • Light helps to illuminate the "workplace".
  • Excellent quality (e.g. the metal drill bit)

Compared to my previous Makita screw drill, this machine is much heavier (that was not an impact drill either), that is the only disadvantage. The machine is much more robust, and you notice that screws come loose more easily (with my old one, when you increased the torque, it suddenly shot over the screw head, so the force build-up only came with the speed). With this machine you also have a lot of power at low speeds, so you are less likely to overshoot screws.
