With the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus, you also secure the area around your home very well in the dark. This wired IP camera has 2 built-in spotlight with bright light and a siren that scares off intruders. The light from the spotlights allows you to view colored footage in the dark in the Ring app on your smartphone. You decide in which zones the motion detectors are active. This way, you don't receive unnecessary notifications. Thanks to the Full HD resolution, everything is clearly visible. You can save images and watch back with a Ring Home subscription, which costs € 3.99 per month. Pair the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus with your other Ring devices or with your smart home via Alexa.

Top floodlight, wide view and sufficient light from the spot

Like everything from Ring, installation is easy, everything you need is in the box and adding in the app is very smooth. I already had a Ring Floodlight, and bought a second one for the side wall, this one has apparently been further developed with a few subtle differences. Including an improvement of the 'temporary suspension system' for during assembly. In the old version it was still a metal hook, now it's a nylon ribbon, you don't have to loosen it anymore, it just goes into the housing when mounting. This continued development of the product can only be applauded, and can someone give the man who came up with the idea of that ribbon a Nobel Prize? What a relief to have your hands free when connecting the wiring !!! The zoning and intelligent detection work quite well and avoid a lot of false alarms.
