The blender feels very robust and stands firmly on my counter. I've blended a few smoothies and they're all super smooth. There are no pieces in it and there is no foam layer on the smoothie. The ingredients have become one whole, making the taste very tasty. The blender makes a lot of noise while mixing and is quite large in size. ice cubes The blender is also suitable for mixing ice cubes. For example, I put ice cubes in my smoothie and iced coffee. You have a separate program for crushing ice, but the ice cubes are also finely crushed in the program for smoothies and cocktails. There were no chunks of ice in my drinks. Programs The blender has programs for crushing ice, smoothies, cocktails and a cleaning program. I find the programs useful, because you don't have to think about the right speed setting and mixing time yourself. The program stops automatically and the result was completely satisfactory. Warm ingredients The blender jar is suitable for hot ingredients. For example, I have mixed boiled vegetables into a soup. I also really like the heat-resistant jar for cleaning. This way you can clean the jug with warm water without worry. So hygienic. Measuring cup in lid The lid has a removable cap with a measurement indicator to measure liquids. The cap is 45 ml. This is useful for a cocktail, for example, because you can easily measure the right amount of alcohol. The numbers on the cap are a bit hard to read.

I was allowed to test the blender in collaboration with Kitchenaid. The blender comes with a 1.4 liter glass mixing cup and matching lid. What immediately stands out is the stylish design and weight. The blender immediately feels very stable and strong. After a week I have 2 small mixing cups of 200 ml. purchased. These smaller variants are ideal for making baby food or sauces and come with their own blade system and lid so that they can be stored in the fridge. Do you want to make healthy smoothies with frozen fruits, ginger or spinach, crush cookies for desserts, crush ice for cocktails or puree soups? The blender can do it all with 5 speeds, the pulse option and 3 preset programs: crush ice, ice drinks & smoothies. In addition, the blender has a self-cleaning cycle. You pour some detergent and water into the mixing cup and cleaning is automatic. The mixing cup and accessories can also simply go in the dishwasher. So very handy! To prevent spillage, the blender also has a soft-start function and starts briefly at a low speed before the set program starts. In any case, the blender passed my tests of homemade nut butter, baby food, soups, desserts & cocktails, sauces and healthy smoothies. Downsides? They don't really exist for me! Yes, you hear the blender, especially with recipes that contain a lot of ice. However, this is certainly not annoying or disturbing, but that is of course personal. If you're looking for a powerful and stylish blender, I definitely recommend this one.
