Nikon AF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR DX

Nice holiday lens for my D90. I had an old Nikon 70-300 with some mediocre lenses. My 18-105 is a pleasant lens, but a bit too limited range for safari. Knowing that Coolblue is not difficult about returning, I bought it and looked critically. No regrets. Light sensitivity is slightly less at 300 mm, but VR compensates for this and sometimes you have to boost some ISO. No disturbing distortion (the old 70-300 though) lens, not too heavy and barely larger than the 18-105. Downside: no lens hood, despite the same diameter, the lens hood of my 18-105 cannot be attached, it does not click into place. The site refers to the HB 58 but it is too big so I have to send it back (belongs to the heavy predecessor of this lens)! It must be the HB 39. Are you still there? Handy to know. Delivery further out of the art, ordered late at night, delivered the next day.

The zoom lens is quite compact and the long range is fantastic. You no longer need other lenses with this zoom lens. Easy operation, razor-sharp photos and good lighting. Certainly outside. It is a pity that a lens hood is not included. Great lens for holidays. The quality of the photos on my D90 is really great. Very satisfied with this zoom lens.

This lens is of good Nikon quality. The range goes from wide angle to telephoto and the lens is small and light, as can be expected from DX lenses. You don't have to carry other lenses with you when you travel, these are enough, which is nice for your travel luggage and lifting the DSLR all day long with this lens. The quality of the photos is good. Lens errors are very largely automatically corrected by the Nikon DX SLRs from the D90. There is only some vignetting in both extreme positions.
