Get the most out of the Sonos Roam

With these 3 tips, you can get the most out of your Sonos Roam. That way, you know exactly what to go to enjoy your favorite music everywhere:

Tip 1. Add it to the Sonos app.

Tip 2. Turn the speaker off or put it in standby mode.

Tip 3. Reset the Roam.

To control the Roam to the Sonos app, you first have to add the speaker to the app. You can do this by turning it on with the button on the back. Open the Sonos app on your phone and create an account or sign in. You'll see a pop-up on your screen to add the Roam. Click 'Add' and follow the steps in the app to complete the installation.

Already have a Sonos system? Click on the gearwheel icon, 'System', and 'Add product'. Follow the steps in the app to complete the installation.

When you're not using the speaker, turn it off or put it in standby mode. That way, you're sure that the battery of the speaker isn't empty during your next use. You turn off the speaker by pressing and holding the button on the back for 5 seconds. After that, you'll hear a sound and the LED light on the front will turn off. To put the speaker in standby mode, briefly press the button on the back.

If the speaker isn't responding or the music is stuttering, you should reset the speaker. You can do this as follows:

• Press and hold the on/off button on the back of the Roam for 5 seconds to turn off the speaker.

• Press and hold the play/pause button while briefly pressing the on/off button.

• Hold the play/pause button until the light on the front of the speaker flashes orange and white.

• When the light turns green, you've reset the Roam and it's ready for use.
